THE EAP EVALUATION KIT

A hands-on way to see what a dielectric elastomer stack can do

No lab equipment, no signal generator, no wiring diagrams. The kit pairs a self-contained driver unit with a windowed actuator enclosure, so the motion – the whole point of the technology – is the first thing anyone notices.
EAPs Evaluation Kit

Figures describe the underlying stacked dielectric elastomer actuator technology and vary with stack dimensions. Full evaluation-kit specifications are provided in the user manual.

    Manual and control software

Everything you need to set up the kit and start driving the actuator from your own PC.

    01 – WHAT IT IS

A compact, two-part demonstrator: a driver & control enclosure on the left, and a clear-windowed actuator case on the right, joined by a flexible interconnect. Together they turn an invisible physical effect — electrostatic contraction of a stacked polymer — into something you can watch happen.

    02 – WHY IT’S BUILT THIS WAY

Everything needed to run a first demonstration is already inside the enclosure: driver electronics, power switching, and status indication. There’s nothing to configure before the actuator moves for the first time.

    • Driver & control enclosure
Self-contained electronics with a single power switch – no bench supply required.
    • Actuator viewing window
Clear acrylic case exposes the stacked elastomer so the contraction is visible in real time.
    • Status
Amber indicator confirms the driver is powered and actuating on command.
    • Thumb-screw access
Tool-free enclosure opening for a closer look at the actuator stack itself.

    Status LED

Clear acrylic case exposes the stacked elastomer so the contraction is visible in real time.

    Status

Amber indicator confirms the driver is powered and actuating on command.

    Thumb-screw access

Tool-free enclosure opening for a closer look at the actuator stack itself.

    Plugin

Connect power and the interconnect cable – no other setup.

    Trigger

Press the control button, or drive it from the software GUI.

    Switch on

The status confirms the driver is ready.

    Watch it move

The stack visibly contracts – silently, with no moving mechanical parts.
